As a natural consequence of Unika’s excellent growth, the quality department has been reinforced. Steffen Toft Jensen is our new Quality Manager. Steffen is part of the management group, and comes from a position at Grundfos. He has 17 years experience working with supplier quality, process quality, complaint management, production technology and project management, and we regard him is a significant reinforcement of Unika’s quality department.
Added value for customers and suppliers
The reinforcement will be of value to our customers, as Unika is now even better suited to handle the increased quality activities prior to initiating the production of new products. We possess the resources and professionalism to deliver the most extensive documentation of quality and production. This is the type of documentation that our costumers increasingly demand when working with NPI-projects.
Likewise, it means that Unika is even more adept at entering into partnerships with both customers and suppliers, and can advice on the optimisation opportunities concerning design, development and production of new products. At Unika, we wish to engage in in-depth dialogue with suppliers to ensure flawless deliveries for Unika’s production department, in order to avoid any waste at both the suppliers and Unika.
Increased focus on performance
The increase of managerial resources is part of our bid to make Unika’s company performance even more visible. We wish to control the company’s healthy development in relation to specific key figures. The KPI’s follow the development closely when it comes to turnover, delivery ability, delivery quality, costs, sick days and number of employee improvement suggestions that are implemented.
