New extreme speeds and precision cutter

Our new room in our tool department is finished and the new extreme speeds and precision cutter for Mold Tooling is already installed.

We look forward to a higher quality in the tool department. Both in the form of the new modern room build to meet the requirements specification with the right floor and the right indoor climate for the new cutter and in the form of the investment in the new cutter itself.

The cutter is a Makino D200Z Vertical 5-Axis cutter that runs at extremely high speed and accuracy at the same time. A unique foundation for responsive high-speed cutting and unique surface finish that reduces or completely replaces the need for workmanship.

The cutter is equipped with SGI 5 motion control software that controls movement and controls the degree of accuracy and quality in blends and matches of intricate surfaces and 3D accuracy requirements.

That is, in the future we can mill faster and flawlessly with a higher precision and tighter tolerances matching the complex 3D contoured work pieces.

We will provide customers with the fastest, best and most modern service by producing and maintaining very high quality tools and precision for plastic injection molding with this cutter, and look forward to enhancing the Danish tool making with the latest technology at Unika Danmark A/S.
